another reflection
I had a short conversation this afternoon with one of my tutors at the university for my thesis project.
"So, you came here for your master. What did you do for your bachelor degree?"Yeah, I've been working on something (almost completely) different to what I used to. I agree with him that I also found it nice to learn something different. I just hope that it doesn't make me not focus, instead, I wish all those things would be handy for me. But yeah, it was one of the bravest decisions I ever made. I don't regret it, though now I start feeling the consequences. I have to struggle and I need a lot of courage to keep going.
"Ummm, Electrical Engineering."
"And you are working on cells now?!"
"Yeah, I know it's kinda weird relation :D."
"Good for you. Sometimes it's good to do something different."
But, I choose to keep my faith that I'll do just fine. InshaAllah.
People never stop learning, don't they? And with encouraging and helpful people whom I met: my supervisors, my tutors, my lab mates,... I think I'll do OK. I can't thank you all enough!
My wish now is that at the end of the day, I'll be a better person.

I agree with your Prof. des. I don't think it makes you unfocused, as long as you do your best. :)
Ciao des!
